Blake refers to as "He" in "The Lamb" to the Creator.

The poem "The Lamb" comprises of the questions that the poet asks the lamb and gives it the answers too. He asks the lamb about its origin, the food which it eats, the place where it lives and many more. He himself answers these questions by telling the lamb that God has created it. For the poet, the lamb is the symbol of innocence and mildness.
