Alfred just let his small dog Bogie into the backyard to play. It was a little chilly outside and began to rain really hard, so Alfred called Bogie to come back inside. Alfred saw that Bogie had mud all over his paws. Alfred knows his mom will be furious if the dog gets mud all over the house because she had just cleaned the house two days ago.

What is the best way for Alfred to get Bogie inside without getting mud on the floors in the house?

Leave Bogie outside and hope the rain will wash off the mud before his mom arrives.

Turn on the sprinkler system in the yard so it can clean the mud off of Bogie's paws.

Get a bucket of cold water and pour it over Bogie while he stands on the porch.

Pick up Bogie and carry him to the bathtub to clean all of the mud off his paws.

The most appropriate answer should be this option: Pick up Bogie and carry him to the bathtub to clean all of the mud off his paws. It is the simplest thing he could do to save time and effort without compromising water resource and Bogie's welfare.
