What is it called when an author reverses the standard order of words or phrases in a sentence?

    Inverted Syntax.

    When an author inverts or reverses the structure of a sentence then it is called inverted syntax. For example "With grace, she dances" is not the traditional structure, "she dances with grace" is the traditional structure. Therefore the former example is a case of inverted syntax.
