He thinks he is better than other animals.

    Explanation:

The short children's story The Crab that Played with the Sea by Rudyard Kipling is a fictional fairy-tale story of how the crab came to be. The short story began from the moment the "Eldest Magician" created the animals and also formed seas and mountains according to their behavior.

When the Eldest Magician told the animals to play, the Man came with his daughter and asked the magician to "make all the animals obedient to [him]". So, with that agreed, the magician gave the order for all animals to obey the words of the man. But in the meantime, Pau Amma the crab sneaked away to the ocean and disobeyed the order of the Eldest Magician. And in his act of disobeying, he showed that he thinks himself better than the other animals and will not be under the man.
