    "Nathan, come back!"

"Don't make this more difficult than it has to be, Layla." I sighed and turned around. I saw her teary eyes and walked back to her engulfing her in a hug.

"You're the one making this difficult. I don't know why you can't just tell me the truth."

"Because I don't want to hurt you, Layla."

"Maybe I don't care, maybe knowing the truth and being hurt is better than not knowing and loathing myself."

"Just know that I don't want to leave you, okay?"

"No, don't do that. I need an explanation."

    "My explanation is--"

"Don't you dare tell me it's because you don't want to hurt me! tell me the truth, or tell me you hate me, that would be easier."

"I have my reasons, and I don't hate you, that would be a lie."

"I rather have a bad a lie instead of a quarter of the truth."

"You don't understand, Layla! If I tell you, you'd be in danger."

"I rather be in danger with you than worrying about you from far away."

    "I love you, Layla. Goodbye."
