Change the following sentence from passive voice to active voice by choosing the best revision. "It was decided by my parents that our family would go camping this weekend."

A) "This weekend, our family would go camping, was a decision made by my parents."

B) "Our family would go camping this weekend was a decision made by my parents."

C) "My parents decided that our family would go camping this weekend."

D) "A decision made by my parents sent my family camping this weekend."

    The correct option is C.

    In English language, sentence can be written in active form or in passive form. To change a sentence written in passive voice to active voice do the following:

    1. Look at the sentence carefully and determine the subject of the sentence. The subject of a sentence is the one who is performing an action in that sentence.

    2. Determine the object of the sentence. The object of the sentence is the person or thing on whom an action is been performed.

    3. Put the subject in the front of the sentence and place the object towards the end of the sentence.

    In the sentence given above, 'My parent' is the subject of the sentence while 'our' family is the object. So, to write the sentence in the active voice, 'My parent' which is the subject will come first, follow by the object, which is 'our family
