Why is speaking to persuade more challenging than speaking to inform?

    Speaking to persuade is more difficult because the speaker is talking about an opinion. The audience may have different beliefs, so it would be more difficult to convince them. Speaking to inform is simply giving the audience new information in which they may not have previously known.
