What evidence does king offer to support his suggestion in line 123 that the united states is not really acting to liberate the vietnamese people?

    Part of that evidence had to do with what he said that t he Vietnamese people proclaimed their own independence in 1945. Even though they quoted the American Declaration of Independence in their own document of freedom, USA refused to recognize them. Mr King said that instead USA decided to support France in its reconquest of her former colony. He stated: " Our government felt then that the people in vietnam were not "ready" for independence, and we again fell victim to the deadly Western arrogance that has poisoned the international atmosphere for so long. " he was presenting Usa as supporters of France but not liberators of China
