    illogical thinking.

    Explanation:

Henri is perhaps suffering from "formal thought disorder" which is another name for schizophrenia as disordered thought or illogical thinking leads to cognitive distortion in him that is one of the common symptoms of this cognitive disorder. This has depersonalized his identity as he prepares himself according to the society and their likes and he must have created a set of delusions in his mind that people should like him only and not criticize him. His rational abilities have been ruptured which has led to the creation of illogical fallacies in him that had caused the failure of ability to handle criticism.
