In Sean O'Failain's story, "The Trout", Julia's reaction to 'The Dark Walk' is joy and laughter. She looks forward to it, and it is the first thing she does when her family visits the "G". She is fond of it because it is exciting and brings adventure. By her reaction we can tell that she is an active, playful, enthusiastic, adventurous, vital young girl.
