Select the sentence containing a participle. The boy sliding into third is my brother. Sliding into third was difficult.

    I believe the answer is "Sliding into third was difficult" since they used the verb as the main focus in the sentence. They basically turned it into the 'noun' of the sentence. A participle is a word formed by a verb and used as an adjective.
