Is this a pathetic fallacy: "the distant savage lair from which the wind was rushing."?

    Yes, it is pathetic fallacy. Cause we all know that the word 'rush' is a human motion/emotion and not something to do with wind. When said, that the wind is rushing, it applies a sort of personification to it, alas we call it 'Pathetic Fallacy'.
