this year on December 23, my parents, john, cindy, and I are leaving for arizona to visit my grandparents, mr. and mrs. h. simpson. they live at 1655 north lincoln road in phoenix, arizona. on Christmas Eve, we will attend the special service at the first christian church. later, we will return with my grandparents to open gifts. we will end the night by continuing our tradition of reading the poem "A Visit from Saint Nicholas."

    Unless you are supposed to actually change sentences to use appositives, change word orders, or combine them, I believe this would be correct.
