Why is it so difficult for the U. S to address gun violence

    It is mainly because written in the U. S. constitution, the second amendment states our right to bear arms, and that it shall not be infringed. The problem is, many people who go through the gun buying process aren’t given either a) enough of a background check or b) proper gun training. This causes costly mishaps, and in some cases, massive tragedies and massacres, just because of the availability of weapons to people. So then masses come together to fight for gun laws to be stricter, or even take them away, and the other half of people defend themselves by proclaiming their right to bear arms, since having a weapon could also save you from a life or death situation. It’s a shame that there are so many malicious people in this world ...
