What is the dramatic irony in the odyssey book 17 line 27-41?

    The dramatic irony in this section is that Odysseus is still dressed as an old beggar. He is going through his home town and interacting with so many people he has known, but no one besides the audience (which is what makes it dramatic irony) knows that it is him.
