- Sawmill. It is a factory or a plant where people saw timber to make things out of wood, for example, logs or lumber, or boards.

- Chainsaw. It is an electric machine which is used for sawing timber. The "chain" in the word signifies that it has a chain with steel teeth, which actually do the sawing.
