    As far as I am concerned, after this conflict situation from the following passage represented below, Higgins feeling ashamed and kind of insulted by her words tries to make something offensive to in order to kick back. Unfortunately, I don't know your answers, but I am pretty sure that the answer which I suggest you will suit your task. So, the truth is, that Higgins bullies Liza when she tries to stand up to him.
