    B because the actions match by being past tense

    Wow, This has to be B. I mean if you look at it closely, you will notice that it 1) sounds better and 2) look at the sentence and the words, you cant have a past tense and then a pretense all bunched together, doesn tlook right, which makes B right because its like a parallel structure
