Wht is the purpose of this poem? what was the author trying to convey

I ignored what they said,

They never got into my head,

In your arms, I would have bleed, (Be - Leh - Duh)

On your shoulder, the tears I shead.

A thousand thoughts of what to do,

In the night when I'm missing you,

Feeling lost, and feeling blue,

The cold wind, its calling out for you.

Whisper secrets, Tell me lies,

The thought of regret stays inside,

I feel stupid for letting you go,

But now you are I want, just so ya know.

I was sad, I was upset.

You were the bad guy, in my head.

But all I did was push away,

yesterday isn't the same, it isn't today.

If you want, You can think Im dead.

My heart is gone, Shirt turning red,

Waterfalls, River beds,

Yesterday is not today, Could I be dead?
