    Direct characterization

    Explanation:

Direct Characterization occurs when the author discloses a character in the story by providing specific descriptions about it in his or her literary work. Thus, the writer tells the particular details about a person's physical features, personality, likes, dislikes, hopes, ambitions and dreams.

On the other hand, indirect characterization happens when a character is revealed through dialogues, thoughts and actions.
