How many loved your moments of glad grace,

And loved your beauty with love false or true,

But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,

And loved the sorrows of your changing face ...

In this excerpt from "When You Are Old" by William Butler Yeats, how is the love of "one man" different from the others who have loved the woman?

    The others who loved the woman didn't show her real love they didn't love her for her where as the one man loved her for her no matter what stage in her life she was going through ...
