Which sentence uses the underlined word correctly? A. Yesterday, we laid all the wet seashells on the bench to dry in the sun. B. Yesterday, we lay all the wet seashells on the bench to dry in the sun.

The underlined word for A. is laid.

The underlined word for B. is lay.

I think its laid am I right?

    A is correct. When speaking about past tense, it would be laid.

    Lay is for present tense.
