    The word that best describes the author's attitude towards Allice is sympathetic. He imagines how anyone would feel in a strange place where a lot of things makes no sense. For example when the Dormouse was telling her a story, she was interrupting him all the time. It was not presented as being rude, but being curious and not understanding.
