Discrimination is defined as treating someone differently base on race, religion, gender, age, or disability.

Some of these legislative measures used to combat it are stated in Education Amendments which are to be followed by all institutions in charge of education processes.

Among the most important we can mention:

The VI of the Civil Right act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the bases of race, color, and national origin.

The IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 prohibits sex discrimination.

Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability.

And the Age Discrimination Act of 1975 prohibits discrimination based on age in any programs that receive federal funding.

It is important to follow an inclusive atmosphere to avoid discrimination in all areas of life by putting equal opportunity policies in place, and in this case mentioned, opportunity policies for fare education access.
