    Dr. Fisher has presented th example of female elephant who falls into estrus and looks for male to mate. She has many males around her but she is looking for a specific mate. When she finds one, they both copulate for three days. This behavior is observed in all animals. In humans brain is far more advacned therefore it drives a different sort of approach to lovers but this sense of attraction occurs in humans as well. Hence we can say that ' central ot romantic love is lover's preference"

    Dopaminergic reward pathways in neural system are linked to behavioral attraction in animals. Scientifc research on brain systems prove that romantic love is one of the three brain systems that have evolved. Dopamine is released when feeling of romantic love is experienced and sense of happiness is experienced. Dopamine activates reward system. I agree with Dr. Fisher's theory because historically love has been the motivation for preference of sexual partner. this is what is commonly observed as well.
