    I believe the correct answer is B. Dante travels through Hell to find his way to Heaven.

    He had to deal with his own faults by going through Hell and having to see what each sinner was experiencing in the afterlife. After doing that, he was allowed to "continue on the right path in life" by going to Heaven to meet his loved one.
