A five-digit number has a 3 in the hundreds place a 7 in the greatest place - value position, a 9 in the ones place, an 8 in the thousands place, and a6 in the ten place. What is the number? Use the four-step plan.

    The number is 78369 because first just plot tje numbers in the order that they are and so go 7 in the greatest, then 8, then 3, then 6, then 9.
