    A) Okonkwo would not have been involved in his death.

    Explanation:

Although Okonkwo loves Ikemefuna, when the oracles announce that he must be killed, he does not hesitate. However, Ezeudu advises him not to take part in the boy's killing, as he calls him "father." Nevertheless, although he promises Ezeudu not to do so, he attends the killing ritual anyway. As Ikemefuna is hurt, but does not die, Okonkwo participates in it in order not to appear weak. This means that if Ikemefuna had been killed by the first blow, Okonkwo would not have been involved in his death.
