Which sentence from "The Yellow Wallpaper" best contributes to the disgusted tone?

A. A colonial mansion, a hereditary estate, I would say a haunted house, and reach the height of romantic felicity but that would be asking too much of fate!

B. John is kept in town very often by serious cases, and Jennie is good and lets me alone when I want her to.
