    Based on the interview with E. Y. (Yip) Harburg, the way that Harburg’s experience during the Great Depression differs from the experiences of most Americans is the last one - D. by being able to develop his creative talents, he profited from the Depression while many other suffered.

    Unlike many people who lost everything during the Depression, Harburg wanted to make money off of his talent, and in the end, he did manage to do that.
