Depending on the environment in which they were raised a child may have a different opinion about school than their peers. Many children see school as a boring place but know that they must attend if they want to have a decent adult life. Other children see it as a place to get away from home and meet new people. Some children strive to be the best of the best and work very hard in school and other extra-curricular activities to get as many scholarships as possible. Often times one's opinion of school changes with age and maturity as younger and more immature children do not realize the importance of a quality education. For most high school children school is just something they have to do.
