It may be a bit silly to admit this, but I'm actually a little afraid of the dark. Ever since I was a little child, I've had a night-light and demanded that my door be left open with the hallway light on. My parents have tried and tried to convince me that there's nothing to be afraid of, but I won't change. My older brother says that I'm being a scaredy-cat. The only time I'm really embarrassed about my fear is when my friends come over to spend the night.

Which sentence provides the best conclusion to the paragraph?

A) My brother thinks he's braver than me, but I happen to know he's scared of spiders.

B) I do not like when I can't sleep at night, and I get up all cranky for school the next day.

C) It makes me angry, but I hope that someday I can finally learn to conquer my fear of the dark.

D) Lots of people have the same fear as me, and many other have different things they are afraid of.
