Answer is A memoir discusses broader details of a person's life, while a biography talks about a short span of time. Because a memoir is covers only one specific aspect of a person's life while the auto biography focuses on the chronology of the person's entire life and span of entire time. but in other words, a memoir is a sub category of the autobiography.
