No choices are given so I'll just list down the reasons why a regular verb is called a regular verb.

    1) Its past and participle are the same.

    2) Regular verb is a verb whose past tense and past participles are formed by adding - ed or d to the end of the verb.

    For example:

    Present tense: plan roll dry

Past tense : planned rolled dried

Past Participle : planned rolled dried

*see the past tense and past participle are the same.

    Examples of irregular verbs.

    Present tense: write break meet

Past tense : wrote broke met

    Past Participle: written broken met

*notice that the past and past participle are different. No - ed or d is added to the end of the verb.
