    A man is watching a crowd and finds one man who looks puzzled. Later he discovers that the man had done some sin and he is horrified.

    The story is suspenseful and gloomy but at the same time it is heart touching. The story is set in London and the story is mostly described at night.

    It creates a gloomy and depressing outlook as the author speaks about poverty and crime. The author focusses on the lack of concern of the people.
