    This is what happened when they first started airing the war of the worlds back in 1938 when a radio broadcaster decided to air an adaptation of the 1898 novel by George Orwell he decided to broadcast it presenting the story as a live new report and many people believed it, leading to a public histeria since they didn't knwo that it wasn't true.
