    The correct answer is D because obviously there was a confrontation between the States of the North (which they called the Union) and the States of the South (which received the name of Confederate States). There was a clear political difference between these two states, since while the northern states advocated the abolition of slavery, the southern states were in disagreement and discriminated against the black race, all to maintain a convenience that favored the countryside and the free Commerce.
