Mitch Albom uses the metaphor that relates glass to childhood. Why is this

a good comparison? Is there another comparison you could make that

would make more sense? Why or why not?

    Childhood is like glass in the way that it must be cared for in order to remain in tact, however I would argue that it is not childhood which compares to glass, however it would be innocence, and that once innocence is shattered by reality, it cannot be restored.
