    This reporter after leaving the concert that she was supposed to report on for the entire event and then reported as though she was there the entire time would have been fired for fabrication.

    Libel is a written defamation of someone's person (i. e. character, personality, or anything about them).

    Slander is the verbal defamation.

    Plagiarism would be if she completely copied another reporters report about the concert.
