Why is it easy to misjudge people from the way they look

Cause that's the first thing they see and what they see is gonna set an entire persona in their head you know

Because it's easier then getting to know you personally. People trust their experiences which causes them to sometimes think that they're omniscient.

1. If you see someone with oily hair, you think that they don't take care of themselves. But maybe they are too poor to afford taking a shower regularly or if it's a child : maybe he/she has parents that don't care enough for you.

2. If you see someone who is overweight, you think that they're lazy and not disciplined. But maybe they have a disease or maybe they used to be quite slim in their lives and then suddenly fell in a slump.

3. If you see a man with tight jeans who is maybe also surrounded by a lot of girl friends then you might think that he's gay. But maybe tight jeans don't have to equal to being gay all the time (it often does) and maybe he is very comfortabel with girls because he grew up with lots of sisters.
