What do these lines from Bob Kaufman's "Unanimity Has Been Achieved, Not a Dot Less for Its Accidentalness" convey about how the poet might have perceived

mental hospitals and institutionalization?

Gothic brain surgeons, weeping over the remains of destroyed love

machines.

Diggers, corkscrewing cleanly in, exhilerausted, into the mind mine,

impaled on edgeless shafts of subtle reminiscence, green-

walking across the belts and ties.
