    The correct answer is B) A literary form in which abstract ideas are represented by literary characters and events.

    That is the option which fits the description of allegory best. Take the play called Everyman as an example - the protagonist goes through life and meets people called Greed, Knowledge, Love, etc. who all represent the emotions and abstract ideas they were named after.
