    Explanation: the way or manner in which words are formed describes morphology. In that the word ova which is the subject of the sentence is plural since a range of egg cells are being observed. Its singular equivalent is ovum.

    By syntax, the way sentences are developed, the sentence above making a complete sense has a subject "the ova of mammals" and the rest, predicate makes it a complete sentence.
