Hope can come from within when one is optimistic and have a positive mindset about things regardless of what surround you. It is good to have one in oneself and this is when the best can come from oneself. One might not have the resources or power to achieve something but with hope within oneself, one can achieve and attain that stage in life.

Meanwhile, hope can also come from people around you when people around you encourage you and show you, love. People around you can give you hope when one is about to lose it all maybe because one is doing well on his own. Hope can come from religious leaders, teachers, mentors, parents, friends, partners. For example, working in an office where you see a colleague excel with the same facility you are provided with gives you the assurance that you can rise above the tide also, because here comes a man who has the same opportunity as you.
