How did kingston's parents respond to her silence during her kindergarten year

    Kingston was silent because she did not speak English very well. Her parents could not understand. They decided to send her to Chinese School. This took place after her American school. Here she felt comfortable and was able to speak her own language. Unfortunately, she flunked Kindergarten.
