Describe and explain the changes in Armand Aubignys Behiour as the story unfolds

Armand Aubigny's behaviour is built on hatred and blame for a culture. This hatred then turns to denial, and finally realisation - almost as though going through the stages of grief and like many characters he is a victim of his hubris.
