    I believe the correct answer is A. understand that foreign nations are a threat to the Iroquois. This part of the oral constitution was probably conceived at the time when the colonialists already started invading the territory. It is a proof of the indigenous people's will to sustain their nations and resist the assimilation to the more powerful invaders.
