    Yes, this is a true statement.

    Within a resume, you would want to explain practically what you have done throughout your life, such as academic e. g "Career objectives' and perhaps some social work you've done in your past. Like for example, if you are in a interview to work for a construction site, within the resume, you would put e. g "I've done concrete, I do drywall, ... etc" Which of-course, that is just an example, but, in cases like this, you would put career objectives within your resume.
