    The correct answer is D) I hope that you do not oversleep, or we will be late for school.

    It is correct because in all of the other options, the comma is placed in an incorrect, weird place, breaking the sentence into incomplete fragments, whereas D is correct.

    is correct since the complete subject and complete predicate are separated by a comma which is allowed in a sentence therefore making a Cp, Cs sentence
