    The correct answer is 2.

"The land of the living was not far removed from the domain of the ancestors. There was coming and going between them, especially at festivals and also when an old man died, because an old man was very close to the ancestors."

Ogbuefi Ezeudu is an ancient and wise man in the Umuofia tribe. Because of his age and experience, he was the keeper of the knowledge and conveys information to the other tribes.

When Ezeudu dies, people announced his death with a special musical instrument. They did so because Ezedu was a respected warrior who has three important titles in the tribe. His funeral was fastuous, with music and guns.

Chinua Achebe is the writer of the novel "Things Fall Apart".
